Day 20 of 365: The Blues

The Blues. Jan 2025

It’s 20 days since I began this exciting journey of a photo a day. This is making me see the routine in my day. Most of my day is at home – which is also where I’ve set up my post production studio. So really there’s no commuting to work. It can be a good thing, but in this case, I’m finding it limits my opportunities to make a variety of daily images.

Tomorrow, I get a new Manfrotto tripod (the 055XPRO3) that will help with macros. I’ve also ordered an extension tube from Fujifilm so I can use my 56mm to make some macros. I’m looking to open up a whole new world of intimate landscapes. Will see how that goes as far as this project.

I’m trying my best to keep up with this project. It’s said if you do something for 21 days straight you can make it a habit. Tomorrow I hit three weeks.

I took this image the same day I took the image of the dead mangroves. But I did not edit it until today. I also got an image today which I shot in the house. But the Blues is what I feel today.

I’m hoping tomorrow will be a new day.
