Body Work. May 2025
Continuing with my work from yesterday, I made a few more impressions. My intention was to use light and shadow to abstract my body from my image.
How does one begin to see oneself, particularly when one is not comfortable in oneself? After yesterday’s first impressions, the camera for me, has become an intermediary in this work. Non-judgemental. Just this body. Pure form. I’m quite excited with this series and will hope to use June to do some more of this looking inward. I must get better lights to do more of this work. Ah! I’m excited by these early experiments.
