Death of a Flower. June 2025
A flower that had bloomed in a pond in our backyard. I’d been seeing it for days but did not use my camera on it. Today, I saw it leaving its form behind. And that’s when I took out my camera. Life, remnants of it, ebbing away. Does the flower or the plant resist this change?
