Silently, they stand testimony to the shifting tides of the Mandovi River. The Universe is constantly changing—even the rocks. Even the river. Subjugated to shifting plates within the earth’s crust and the mounting pressures without, of a rapidly increasing human population and its quest for development, the Mandovi silently observes while humans fight over her and themselves.
