Sometimes, in a monochromatic world, a flash of colour from the Universe reminds me of the bright and beauty in all things – like this impression that came as a flash as I brewed my morning coffee in the kitchen. It’s the pillar of our well in the backyard. I let it sink before heading out with my camera to make this image.
